Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your safari adventure kicks off with an early morning departure from Arusha, leading you to the diverse landscapes of Tarangire National Park. Famous for its large elephant populations, Tarangire’s scenery varies from open savannas to acacia woodlands, punctuated by the winding Tarangire River, a vital water source for the park’s wildlife. As you journey through the park, be on the lookout for predators like lions and leopards, as well as a rich array of birdlife. Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park
The day begins with an early morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most unique wildlife habitats in the world. The Crater’s enclosed environment supports a large population of animals, including elephants, rhinos, lions, and hippos. After your game drive, continue your journey to the Serengeti National Park, where the vast savannas stretch as far as the eye can see. Before heading to the airport, you’ll make a stop at the Arusha Art Gallery, where you can explore a selection of local art and crafts. Afterward, you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward journey, concluding your memorable Tanzania safari.
