Tour Days

Day1-Entebbe/Kampala Transfer to Jinja city

Embark on a 2-3 hour drive to Jinja city, check in at your lodge before venturing to the source of the Nile for a boat ride to witness the origin of the world’s longest river. 

Visit the spot where John Speke first sighted the Nile and capture memorable photographs. 

Additionally, head  for exciting activities such as white water rafting, bungee jumping, quad biking, kayaking, horseback riding, paddle board tours, or mountain biking along the Nile. 

Return to your lodge for an overnight stay.

Day2-Transfer to Sipi Falls

Head to Sipi Falls via Mbale and the Bugisu region, arrive in the afternoon to embark on a hike to the viewpoint of Wagagai peak of Mt Elgon, followed by a hike to Sipi Falls. Afterward, check in at your lodge and enjoy a leisurely evening. 

Sipi Falls is a collection of three stunning waterfalls located in the foothills of Mount Elgon in Eastern Uganda.

The area offers breathtaking views, hiking opportunities, and a chance to experience the local culture, making it a popular destination for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers.

Day3-Transfer to Kidepo valley National Park

You will journey to Kidepo Valley National Park, reaching the park in the evening. 

This remote and rugged wilderness in northeastern Uganda is celebrated for its expansive savannah vistas, diverse wildlife such as lions, elephants, and giraffes, and the distinctive culture of the indigenous Karamojong people. 

Upon arrival, check in and unwind, savoring the park’s natural beauty and peaceful ambiance.

Day4-Game drive at Kidepo valley National Park

Game viewing is key to this park. You will embark on an early morning game drive to observe the wildlife.

After returning to your lodge for lunch, you will visit a local community to experience the Karamojong lifestyle.

Later, you will head for an evening game drive to further explore the wildlife, and then return to your lodge for an overnight stay.

Day5-Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

You will head southwards to Murchison Falls National Park, with the drive taking around 6-7 hours, including a lunch break along the way.

Upon arrival later in the evening, you will check in at your lodge and then head out for an evening game drive. Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s largest national park, known for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, lions, and a breathtaking waterfall where the Nile River is forced through a narrow gap in the rock, creating a powerful cascade.

Day6-Morning Game drive at Murchison Falls National Park

You will embark on an early morning game drive, followed by a lunch break.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls, and later drive to the top of the falls for viewing. Finally, you will return to your lodge for an overnight stay.

Day7-Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

You will drive to Kibale National Park, known as the primate capital of the world.

Upon arrival at your lodge in the evening, you can enjoy your evening at leisure.

Kibale Forest is a biodiverse area, home to a wide variety of primates, including chimpanzees, as well as other wildlife and bird species.

The park offers opportunities for primate tracking, birdwatching, and nature walks amidst its lush vegetation and diverse ecosystems.

Day8-Chimpanzee trekking and Transfer to Entebbe.

You will embark on a morning forest walk tracking the chimpanzees and other inhabitants such as the red-tailed monkey, mantled guereza, olive baboons, and L’Hoest’s monkey.

After the tracking, you will transfer back to Entebbe or Kampala to end your safari experience.
