Tour Days
Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Mgahinga Forest with at stop over at Kigali genocide memorial.
After breakfast drive to Kigali genocide memorial, a significant historical site dedicated to honoring the victims of the 1994 genocide. It provides a comprehensive overview of the events leading up to the genocide, the atrocities committed, and the efforts of reconciliation and healing. The memorial includes exhibits, personal stories, and a serene garden where visitors can pay their respect. Spend 1-2 hours then drive for 3-4 Hours to Bwindi Forest in Uganda, arrive at your Lodge overlooking the forest, spend your evening at leisure.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience Then Transfer to Mgahinga Forest.
Report to the park offices for the briefing, then embark on a trek through the lush forest for 4-5 Hours, guided by experienced rangers. Observe them interacting, feeding, and caring for their young. walk out of the forest then have your packed lunch, Later drive for 2-3 hours to your next lodge near Mgahinga Forest. Have 2 stopovers to view Lake Bunyonyi ‘ Africa’s 2nd Deepest Lake’ and The Virunga Mountain Ranges on Congo, Rwanda and Uganda Border.
