Day 2

Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest and a Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Start with a thrilling early morning chimpanzee trekking adventure in Kibale Forest, where you’ll embark on a guided trek through lush rainforest to observe wild chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Afterward, journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an afternoon game drive, where you’ll explore the sprawling savanna landscape. Expect to encounter a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, lions, and an array of antelope species.

Wildlife Safari and Boat Ride at Kazinga Channel, Transfer to Bwindi Forest

Take a morning game drive followed by a boat ride along the Kazinga Channel, renowned for its large population of hippos and an array of bird species. As you cruise, you may also spot crocodiles and other animals coming to the water’s edge. After the boat safari, transfer to the scenic Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hike to Dian Fossey Memorial and Transfer to Kigali

Pay tribute to conservationist Dian Fossey with a 3-4 hour hike to her grave, a renowned primatologist who dedicated her life to protecting mountain gorillas. Her grave lies near the remains of some of the gorillas she studied, making this visit both educational and emotional.
