Day 1
Transfer from Kigali to Lake Mburo National Park
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, embark on a scenic 5-6 hour drive to Lake Mburo National Park. Enjoy the beautiful rural landscapes and local villages along the way. Lake Mburo is known for its diverse wildlife, including zebras, impalas, and hippos. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and relax.
Day 2
Walking Safari & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Start with a guided walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park, where you’ll observe wildlife like giraffes and antelopes up close. Afterward, enjoy a short game drive through the park. Then, exit the park and drive to Mbarara for lunch, before continuing to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This journey takes about 2-3 hours, and you’ll arrive in the late afternoon.
Day 3
Game Drive & Boat Safari on the Kazinga Channel
In the morning, go for a game drive in the Kasenyi Plains to spot lions, elephants, and buffaloes. Afterward, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, take a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, where you’ll see hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species. Later in the evening, enjoy another short game drive to spot more wildlife.
Day 4
Return to Kigali International Airport
After breakfast, begin your 5-6 hour drive back to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight.
