Things to Do in Kibale Forest National Park

  •  Chimpanzee Trekking

     Led by expert Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers, this guided trek takes you deep into the jungle in search of one of Uganda’s most iconic primates ‘The Chimpanzee’

    Once you locate a chimpanzee troop, you’ll spend a full hour in their presence, observing their natural behaviors—grooming, feeding, playing, and communicating in their unique vocalizations. Along the way, you may also spot red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus, and a variety of tropical birds.

    Duration: 2–4 hours total (1 hour with chimpanzees)

    Age Limit: Minimum age is 12 years
    Fitness Level: Moderate – forest trails may be muddy or uneven
