Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Transfer from Entebbe International Airport  to Lake Mburo National Park

Upon arrival at Entebbe, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your guide and begin your journey with a scenic 4–5 hour drive to Lake Mburo National Park.

Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and take some time to relax and unwind, surrounded by the tranquil sounds of nature.

Later in the evening, set out on a night game drive, one of the few places in Uganda where this is permitted. With spotlights and a skilled ranger, venture into the darkened savanna in search of nocturnal wildlife such as leopards, hyenas, genets, and bush babies—creatures that are rarely seen during the day.

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Walking Safari & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for Boat Safari on the Kazinga Channel

Start your day with a guided walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park, a unique opportunity to observe wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, impalas, and other antelopes up close, accompanied by an experienced ranger.

Exit the park and drive to Mbarara for a lunch stop. Continue your journey—approximately 2 to 3 hours—to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the early afternoon.

Upon arrival, embark on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, for an opportunity to view large numbers of hippos, elephants drinking at the water’s edge, buffalo, and an array of bird species, including African fish eagles, kingfishers, and pelicans.

Conclude the day with an evening game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, a prime location for spotting lions, leopards, and other savanna wildlife as they become more active during the cooler evening hours.

Day 3

 Morning Game Drive &Transfer Back to Entebbe

Start your morning with an early game drive in the Kasenyi Plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park, a region known for its abundant wildlife and wide-open savanna landscapes. This area offers some of the best chances to spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, Ugandan kob, Enjoy the drive until around 10:00 AM, then return to your lodge for a quick refresh and checkout.

Afterward, begin your drive back to Entebbe, the drive typically takes 6–7 hours. You may opt for a lunch stop en route before continuing to Entebbe International Airport, where you’ll arrive in time for your departure flight, marking the end of your safari adventure.
