Day 1

Start your 6-7 Hour journey with a scenic drive to Kibale National Park. Explore a coffee farm near the forest to learn about Ugandan coffee culture The journey sets the stage for a rich cultural immersion as you arrive at a local coffee farm nestled near the forest edge. Here, you’ll delve into the fascinating world of coffee cultivation, learning about every step from planting the beans to the intricate process of harvesting and processing. Guided by knowledgeable locals, you’ll discover the traditional techniques passed down through generations alongside modern innovations in coffee production

Day 2

Start with a thrilling early morning chimpanzee trekking adventure in Kibale Forest, where you’ll embark on a guided trek through lush rainforest to observe wild chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Afterward, journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an afternoon game drive, where you’ll explore the sprawling savanna landscape. Expect to encounter a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, lions, and an array of antelope species.

Day 3

Take a morning game drive followed by a boat ride along the Kazinga Channel, renowned for its large population of hippos and an array of bird species. As you cruise, you may also spot crocodiles and other animals coming to the water’s edge. After the boat safari, transfer to the scenic Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Conclude the day by visiting the Batwa community, where you’ll experience their rich culture, traditional dance, and storytelling, gaining insight into their history as forest dwellers

Day 4

After an early morning briefing, you’ll trek through lush, mist-covered forests, tracking mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. This life-changing encounter allows you to observe these gentle giants in their serene environment, offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness their behaviors up close. After the trek, enjoy a packed lunch before setting off for a scenic drive to Kinigi, near Volcanoes National Park.

Day 5

Track the rare golden monkeys of Volcanoes National Park in the morning, an activity that allows you to get up close with these endangered primates in their natural habitat. Known for their vibrant golden fur, these monkeys are a highlight for wildlife enthusiasts. Afterward, you’ll enjoy a tranquil afternoon village walk, where you’ll experience authentic Rwandan culture firsthand.

Day 6

Pay tribute to conservationist Dian Fossey with a 3-4 hour hike to her grave, a renowned primatologist who dedicated her life to protecting mountain gorillas. Her grave lies near the remains of some of the gorillas she studied, making this visit both educational and emotional.

After the hike, descend and transfer to Kigali, Rwanda’s vibrant capital.

Day 7

Discover Kigali’s vibrant markets and visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial and Belgian Peacekeepers Memorial. Enjoy lunch at Hotel Rwanda before your airport transfer, bringing an end to a remarkable journey.
