Day 1
Gorilla Trekking Day Tour
The day begins with a 5:00 AM pickup from your hotel in Lake Bunyonyi, Kabale town Bus Park or at the Katuna (Uganda–Rwanda) border.
From there, enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, arriving by 8:00 AM for a mandatory pre-trek briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers.
You’ll then embark on a 4–5-hour guided trek through the lush rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. Once found, spend an incredible hour observing and photographing these gentle giants in their natural habitat.
After the trek, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel, dropped at the Katuna border, or taken to the Kabale town bus station for your onward journey.
