Day 1

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Embark on a scenic journey to Kibale Forest National Park, known for its lush biodiversity. Upon arrival, enjoy an evening Coffee Farming Experience, where you’ll learn about Uganda’s rich coffee culture and the local farming techniques.

Day 2

Chimpanzee Tracking In Kibale Forest And Afternoon Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP

Start the day with an early-morning chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale Forest, where you’ll get up close to these incredible primates in their natural habitat until late morning. In the afternoon, after your lunch break transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

 

Day 3

Game Drive & Boat Safari at Queen Elizabeth National Park

Start with an early morning game drive. Explore the vast savannah in search of  lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and other iconic African wildlife. Capture stunning photos as the golden sunrise illuminates the breathtaking landscapes.

After lunch, embark on an exciting boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, a wildlife-rich waterway teeming with hippos, crocodiles, and diverse bird species. Watch elephants and buffaloes gather along the shores, making for an unforgettable safari experience.

Conclude the day with a late afternoon game drive, maximizing your chances of spotting more wildlife as the animals become active again.

Day 4

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest & Community Tour

Start with a  4-5 hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Travel through breathtaking landscapes of rolling hills and lush greenery, capturing the beauty of Uganda’s wilderness.

In the afternoon, immerse yourself in a cultural community experience to interact with the local Batwa people, learn about their traditions, and enjoy authentic Ugandan hospitality

Day 5

Gorilla Trekking Experience Then Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After an early breakfast, prepare for the unforgettable experience of gorilla tracking in Bwindi Forest. Spend time observing a gorilla family in the wild before transferring to Volcanoes National Park  in the afternoon.

Day 6

Golden Monkey Tracking and Transfer to Lake Kivu

Delight in a morning of Golden Monkey tracking in the scenic Volcanoes National Park surrounded by the striking Virunga Mountains. Afterward, travel to Gisenyi, arriving at the picturesque Lake Kivu for an evening of relaxation.

Day 7

Lake Kivu and Optional Goma City Tour

Start with a peaceful boat tour on Lake Kivu, taking in the stunning views of Rwanda’s largest lake then embark on an optional city tour of Goma in the Democratic Republic of Congo to explore its cultural sites before heading to Kigali in the late afternoon. 

Day 8

Kigali City Cultural and Historical Tour

Explore Kigali, Rwanda’s capital, with visits to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, the vibrant Cultural Market, and the historic Hotel Rwanda for lunch, in the afternoon transfer to eastern Rwanda for your night.

Day 9

Journey to Gitega, Burundi – Cultural & Historical Exploration

Begin your day with an early departure to Gitega, Burundi, traveling via Tanzania if the Rwanda-Burundi border is closed. Enjoy a scenic drive through diverse landscapes as you make your way to Burundi’s political capital.

In the afternoon, immerse yourself in Burundian culture and history with a visit to the renowned Drum Sanctuary. Experience the rhythmic energy of Burundi’s legendary royal drummers, a UNESCO-recognized tradition that symbolizes unity and heritage. Explore the rich history of the region, gaining insights into the cultural significance of drumming in Burundian society.

Day 10

Transfer to Bujumbura, Burundi – Cultural & Scenic Experience And Departure back Home

Begin your day with a scenic 2–3 hour transfer to Bujumbura along one of the world’s most famously dangerous roads, offering dramatic views and unforgettable landscapes. Admire the rolling hills, lush greenery, and picturesque countryside that define Burundi’s natural beauty.

Upon arrival in Bujumbura, explore historical landmarks that reveal the country’s fascinating heritage, then enjoy a leisurely stroll along the shores of Lake Tanganyika — Africa’s deepest lake.

Later, head to Bujumbura Airport as you prepare for your departure back home.
